Terms and Conditions of Sale
  1. In these conditions “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Boat-B-Q Company Ltd (Company No: 5316556). You can send an e-mail to enquiries@boat-b-q.co.uk or telephone us on 01749 840639. “You” and “your” refer to the customer who places an order with us.
  2. We reserve the right not to accept any order. Once your order is accepted by us, a contract will come into force, on the terms and conditions set out here.
  3. Normal delivery is by carrier. We endeavour to ship within 24 hours of receiving an order (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays). Delivery will take place between 24 hours and 28 days depending on the world geographical location. If there is a problem with processing your order, you will be contacted as soon as possible. If we have a delay on delivery for any reason, you are entitled to cancel the order without penalty providing it has not already been despatched. We will not be liable for any delay in delivering the goods which is due to events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  4. When you receive the goods, you should check them as soon as possible, and let us know within 10 days of receipt if there are any problems. If possible, please retain all packaging until you are satisfied with the goods. You will be responsible for any loss or damage to the goods which occurs after they have been delivered to you.
  5. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Bank Transfer and Cheque. Bank transfer and cheques will need to be cleared prior to shipment. Credit or debit payment is not taken until the day the goods are shipped.
  6. Carriage charges are shown on the site checkout.
  7. Every effort is made to ensure that our prices and descriptions are accurate. If an error is found or if prices or products change, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of cancelling your order or reconfirming your order with the revised price or product.
  8. The information and advice contained in our sales documentation is for general guidance purposes only. You are responsible for determining whether it applies to your particular situation. In particular, please read the safety instructions provided with our goods and follow them carefully at all times.
  9. Should you need to return the item for any reason, please contact us for a “returns authorisation”. We are happy to refund the cost of any article should it not be satisfactory for any reason. The goods must be in an unused state with undamaged and original packaging and we should be notified within 10 days of your receipt of the goods. If there is a fault with the goods we shall undertake to repair or replace the item at our discretion. The repaired/replaced item will be shipped back to you free of charge.
  10. If we fail to enforce any of these conditions, that does not mean we have waived any of our rights and we retain the right to enforce any of these conditions at any time.
  11. This particular clause only applies if you are buying goods from us for the purposes of your trade, business or profession and you are not classified as a consumer under UK consumer protection legislation. If you are such a business customer, Clause 9 of these conditions will not apply, we will not be liable for any consequential losses and our maximum liability shall be limited to the price of the goods.
  12. Nothing in these conditions affect your statutory rights as a consumer. You may obtain further information about your statutory rights from your local Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.
  13. Any contract will be governed by English law E &OE.
